Radcliffe Tool & Plant Hire mechanics are not just fully trained to service and repair all plant and equipment hire; they are responsive and reactive too. So if a piece of machinery breaks down on-site our One Hour Guarantee ensures they will replace any item within 60 minutes of notification. This even applies to plant hire that doesn’t belong to us! We can also diagnose and repair your own equipment with minimum disruption to you - by replacing it with one of our own.

In fact, we’re glad of any private repair jobs we can take on. That’s because we like to keep our repair team busy – as such a rigorous system of servicing and re-stocking with new equipment means breakdown of our own hire machinery doesn’t happen very often!

In order to maintain a range of good, clean and safe equipment Radcliffe Tool & Plant Hire have a strict servicing policy. All pieces of machinery are individually cleaned, fully tested and safety checked before every hire – and if appropriate – replenished with a full tank of fuel. Our mechanics have a very pro-active approach based on prevention rather than cure, thus greatly helping to reduce the amount of on-site breakdowns and vastly increasing the number of satisfied customers!

In addition to ensuring our tools and equipment are properly maintained, our in-house mechanics can also help maintain your own. So whether you’re a tradesman or just a DIY expert with a well-stocked shed, we can quote for any items of equipment you may need repairing. We can even come and collect it if you like and provide a hire replacement until you’ve finished the job, or until yours is fixed.
